Garfield Street and Beach Street Reconstruction

The Garfield St. and Beach St. Reconstruction Project includes the region of Garfield St. between Maple and Beach St., a region of Chestnut St. between Garfield and Vallee St., and a 1-block region of Beach St. The work will include a reconstruction of the existing 20-ft wide roads and the installation of 14-ft wide ditches, culverts, and new driveway aprons installed at resident driveway locations. The project also includes the re-placement of ~900-ft of 8” water main and ~725-ft of 8” sanitary sewer, the installation of new water and sanitary services to existing resident lots, the installation of new hydrants and manhole structures, road grading, new roadway base and asphalt, erosion control, restoration, and connections to existing utilities and roadways.
