Description

HOSE TESTING A. Respondent will log all hose loads on the apparatus. B. Respondent shall unload all hose from the apparatus. C. Respondent shall conduct a visual inspection on all hose prior to pressure testing. All hoses failing visual inspection shall be tagged and removed from service without being pressure tested. D. Respondent shall conduct service pressure test on all hose. Service test pressure will be as specified in the NFPA 1962 standard unless the fire department specifies lower or higher service test pressure. Respondent shall not test any hoses higher than 400 psi. E. Respondent shall drain and roll all hose prior to placing back on the apparatus. F. Respondent shall reload apparatus as originally found or as per customer specification. G. Respondent shall deliver to the Fire Department final test documentation within fourteen (14) days of completed services. All documentation is to be provided on a CD or electronically, to include date of test, service test pressure, diameter, length, identification, test results as to each length of hose and a hard copy of summary reports for all hoses. H. Respondent shall maintain documentation and records of test results for a period of ten (10) years.
