Description Protecting the combined sewer that has been exposed due to the erosion of Stickney Creek. The project is located east of Ridge Road between Biddulph Rd and West 66th Street in Brooklyn, Ohio. The District estimates the project area is approximately 750 feet along Stickney Creek. Culverts confine the stream at downstream and upstream ends of the project. Severe erosion of Stickney Creek has exposed approximately 175 feet of combined sewer. Exposure has potential to allow inflow to combined sewer during high flows and outflow of sanitary sewage to the stream. The stream is part of the regional stormwater system. The combined sewer is owned by the District. It is the District`s intent is to alleviate the threat to the combined sewer. In addition to reducing the threat to the combined sewer, the rehabilitation will stabilize the creek, improve stream function, create opportunities to improve upon the social aspect of the surrounding area, and improve ecological condition of the creek.
