Contractor Awarded Address: Rockville, MD 20850-3390 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $26042843.00 This design-build project includes repairs to existing failed or failing site, architectural, mechanical, electrical, telecommunication, fire alarm, security, plumbing, roofing and structural building systems. A failed flat roof will be replaced with a sloped metal roof, and the exterior will be clad in a red brick system to reduce life cycle maintenance costs and meet the requirements of the Installation Planning Standard. Demolition will include all but the concrete structure. The programmatic design assumes the existing exterior masonry infill will also remain. Replace all interior and exterior finishes, partitions, doors and windows. Remove all fan coil units, associated dual temperature piping, condensate drain lines, thermostats, controls and dryer vent ducts. Remove all plumbing fixtures, sinks vanities, water closets, urinals, toilet partitions, toilet accessories and associated sanitary lines, vent lines, water lines and valves. Remove electrical panelboards, switchboards, circuit breakers, conduit, conductors, receptacles, switches, and lighting fixtures. Remove the electrical service entrance, primary underground ductbank, pad mounted utility service transformer, secondary underground distribution, and metering equipment. Remove the pole mounted light fixture in the parking lot. Remove telecommunication cabling, conduit, pathways, equipment racks, and jacks. Remove telecommunication outside plant cabling and ductbanks. Remove electronic security systems such as intrusion detection system, closed circuit television systems, and headend equipment. Remove fire alarm system and all communications systems. Provide all HVAC, Electrical, Structural, Plumbing, Communications, Electronic Security, and Fire Protection systems, fixtures, partitions, finishes and accessories to provide the finished condition described in this document. Finished condition will comply with current building standards, codes, laws, and regulations. Life safety improvements will be consistent with the Reconstruction category of Building Rehabilitation. Proposals Shall Be Submitted Electronically, as Described. The Proposal Shall Not Contain Classified Data. The Use of Hyperlinks in Proposals Is Prohibited.
