Description | 1,085 linear feet of 8" PVC sanitary sewer main, 330 linear feet of 6" PVC sanitary sewer service, 1,173 linear feet of 6" PVC water main, 43 linear feet of 4" PVC water service, 273 linear feet of 1" water service, 2 each 4' x 1T type S storm inlets, 35 linear feet of 18" RCP, 144 linear feet of 24" RCP, 104 linear feet of 36" Arch RCP, 230 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, 4,800 square yards of geotextile fabric, 430 tons of gravel base course, 90 tons of asphalt patch, 2,169 linear feet of curb and gutter, 550 cubic yards of ditch excavation, and 8,870 square yards of seed, fertilize, and mulch. 450 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, 4,670 cubic yards of embankment from borrow, 4,710 tons of grave! base course, and 910 tons of asphalt surfacing. 250 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, 5,870 cubic yards of embankment from borrow, 2,610 tons of gravel base course, and 3,696 square yards of 8" concrete surfacing. The approximate quantities mentioned above are subject to increase or decrease. It will be agreed by bidders that all quantities of work will be performed in accordance with the provisions of the specifications and at the unit price bid. Bidders agree to furnish all labor, material, and equipment necessary to complete all the work as shown in the plans and specifications. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding arid make awards to the Owner's best interest. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the Mitchell Area Development Corporation in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. A bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid will be accepted in lieu of a certified check or bank draft. Surety for bid bond must be authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota. |
