Description

Site work for a road / highway in Ogden, Utah. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway. This project is to reconstruct 20th Street from Quincy Avenue past Valley Drive. The road is in need of repair and this will allow for increased use. The project will also reconstruct the pavement section to be able to handle the traffic the streets currently experience. Improvements for the intersections along 20th Street will be performed. Improvements to sidewalks will be performed. Grades to the roadway will be changed such that they match the cross streets in elevation. The city approached WFRC for Transportation Improvement Project money for this area and was chosen to receive funding. The funding amount to be awarded through WFRC is $2,000,000. Request for $2,568,700 in Sales Tax (construction) funds was funded A swap of Federal Funds to State Funds is being explored and would alter STP funding shown above. The project is included in the city's 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of June 29, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
