Description | As of October 20, 2022, this project is in the conceptual phase. An engineer has been selected but not awarded. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to July 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Perpetuation project to mill and overlay 7.63 centerline miles of STH 161 from USH 10 to the Waupaca County Line in Portage County. The project includes cross culvert work, guardrail work, possible rural inlet work, adding additional paved shoulders, and possible minor intersection modifications. Anticipated Construction Cost: $2,000,000-$2,999,999 The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract. Consultants selected will be required to either submit or have on file with WisDOT a Consultant Financial Report prior to contract execution. Advertised Fixed Fee % : 7.25 Fixed Fee Notification : The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultant's estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate.
