Description

However, it is highly recommended, 2 but not mandatory, that individual Bidders schedule and attend a Pre-Bid Tour directly with Jeff Berres the 3 Correctional Management Service Director at WCI. His contact information is as follows; (920)324-7235; 4 Jeffrey.berres@wisconsin.gov. At least 48 hours in advance of each Bidder's pre-scheduled Pre-Bid Tour, the Bidder 5 shall provide Mr. Berres with Full Name, Date of Birth and place of residence of each attendee as well as including 6 them on a completed Facility Security Clearance Background Check form subjecting each individual planning to 7 attend to a background check by the DOC. A copy of this form is included in these bid documents. Any person not 8 pre-registered will not be allowed to attend. The last day for a tour to be conducted is April 12, 2023. Attendees are 9 to report to the East Side Entrance of South Madison Street to be checked in and pass a security check. Upon arrival attendees to present a valid drivers license or other acceptable photo ID. Attendees without acceptable 15 ID will be denied access to the facility. Proper ID must be carried on attendees at all times while on the 16 facility/institution grounds. 17 18 Attendees to bring only what is necessary. All equipment and tools (camera, screwdriver, tape measure, etc. ) 19 required or needed for the pre-bid tour must be identified at least 24 hours in advance and be approved by the 20 Facility Security Director to be brought into the facility. No device capable of communications (phones, laptops, 21 etc.) will be allowed in. If taking of pictures is allowed, the picture shall not include facility personnel or inmates 22 and must be approved by the DOC Facility Escort Officer prior to taking the photo. 23 24 Bidding Documents will be available online immediately upon the project being advertised for bid.
