Description | The City of Morgan Hill is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide all labor, equipment, materials and performance of operation in connection with Landscape Maintenance Services for: Group 1-Parks Mowing Group 3- Medians, Streetscape, Parking Lots and Misc. Facility Landscaping Group 6-Downtown The anticipated (2) two-year term of the agreement is January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2024, with the possibility of up to three (3) one-year extensions. All questions should be submitted in writing no later than Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. to Cynthia Iwanaga at Cynthia.iwanaga@morganhill.ca.gov Contractors submitting a proposal and their subcontractors shall possess a valid, current and in good standing C-27 (Landscape) contractor's license issued by the California Contractor's State License Board (CSLB) and comply with all other license, insurance and permit requirements of the City, State and Federal governments, as well as all other requirements of the law. The successful bidder and any subcontractors must possess a current and valid California CSLB license in the classification required by law to perform the scope of work for this agreement. In addition a qualified application license (includes Santa Clara County Registration). The successful bidder will also be required to obtain a City of Morgan Hill Business License. All proposers/contractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations as a Public Works Contractor (PWC) and possess a DIR PWC registration number before submitting a proposal. Each worker performing work under this maintenance service agreement shall be paid at a rate not less than the prevailing wage as defined in Sections 1771 and 1774 of the Labor Code. |
