Two Concrete Pads - Solid Waste Convenience Center and Transfer Station

1 The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to install two separate sized concrete pads designated by the County at the Hanover County Courthouse Convenience Center. 3.2 Pad 1: Transfer Station Maintenance Building. – 7301 Courtland Farm Road. Excavate soil/stone for pad grade approximately 32 feet by 24 feet and approximately 6 inches depth. Install 32 feet by 24 feet pad 6 inches deep with 4,000 psi air entrained concrete to drain. Reinforce with #8 welded steel wire. Exterior 32 feet by 1 foot shall be an additional 6 inches deep with 2 rods of #5 rebar for reinforcement 3.3 Pad 2: Convenience Center – Lower area. – 7234 Courtland Farm Road • Excavate approximately 12 feet by 10 feet of soil/stone for pad grade and approximately 6 inches’ depth. Install 12 feet by 35 feet pad 6 inches deep with 4,000 psi air entrained concrete over excavated area and existing concrete pad to drain. Reinforce with #8 welded steel wire. Exterior 32 feet by 1 foot shall be an additional 6 inches deep with 2 rods of #5 rebar for reinforcement 3.4 The Contractor shall keep the property and adjacent areas free from accumulations of debris at all times. At the completion of the work, the Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all work related debris and digging spoils, leaving the work area clean.
