Description | Provide maintenance services for the fire alarm system at Hilo International Airport The scope of work consists of the maintenance of Simplex 4100U / 4005 / 4010ES Fire Alarm System at Hilo International Airport as per manufacturers requirements and recommendations. To be eligible for the award, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii Specialty Contractor's C-15 or C-15a License at the time of bidding. Bidders attention is also directed to SECTION 10.2 SPECIAL PERSONNEL SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS of the specifications regarding additional bidders qualifications. ALL requests for information shall be received in writing Electronically. Questions received after the deadline will not be addressed. Verbal requests for information will not receive a response. Any protest of this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the Director of Transportation, in accordance with 1030-701, HRS and 3-126, HAR. Campaign contributions by State and County Contractors. Contractors are hereby notified of the applicability of Section 11-355, HRS, which states that campaign contributions are prohibited from specified State or county government contractors during the term of the contract if the contractors are paid with funds appropriated by a legislative body. The Equal Employment Opportunity Regulations of the Secretary of Labor implementing Executive Order 11246, as amended, shall be complied with on this project. The U.S. Department of Transportation Regulation entitled Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the U.S. Department of Transportation, Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 21 is applicable to this project. Bidders are hereby notified that the Department of Transportation will affirmatively ensure that the contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex (as directed by 23 CFR Part 200).
