Description | Project Title: Fire Alarm Upgrade Project Number: 459-16-106 Project Location: VA Pacific Islands Healthcare Systems. 459 Patterson Rd, Honolulu, HI 96819 Contractor shall upgrade fire alarm system in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. In accordance with VAAR 836.204 disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00 The NAICS code for this solicitation is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. Bid, Payment, and Performance Bonds shall be required under this solicitation and any resultant contract. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday October 26, 2022 at 9:00am Hawaii Standard Time Request for Information (RFIs) are due Wednesday, November 09,2022, 4:00pm Hawaii Standard Time and must be emailed to christopher.aguon@va.gov This procurement is 100% set-aside for selected contractors on the NCO 21 Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) Group 2, All terms and conditions of the MACC apply to this Task Order OFFERS ARE TO BE SENT TO: One (1) electronic copy via email of the price offer are to be sent to arrive on or before the due date/time at the following email address: Offers have been authorized and are to be sent by email to Christopher Aguon, christopher.aguon@va.gov. Solicitation number and title must be in the title of the email. Faxed quotations are not permitted under any circumstances. REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION (RFI): To obtain clarifications and/or additional information concerning the contract requirements or specifications, submit a written RFI utilizing the RFI Form included in this Solicitation, which is to be sent via email to christopher.aguon@va.gov. See RFI form for specifics. RFI responses will be responded to as necessary in amendment format, which will posted/e-mailed to all concerned. Deadline for submission of RFIs for this solicitation is November 09, 2022 at 4:00 PM HST . No questions will be answered after this date/time unless determined to be in the best interest of the Government as determined by the Contracting Officer. Telephone requests for information will not be accepted or returned. An organized site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday October 26, 2022 at 09:00 AM Hawaii Time. Participants will meet at VA Engineer will meet all contractors outside of the front entrance at: VA Facilities Management Services Department at E-Wing 1 Jarrett White Road, Building T-1 (E-Wing), Room 1-C114, Honolulu, HI 96819 POC: Marvin Patacsil, 808-940-1133; marvin.patacsil@va.gov POC: Gail Tang, 808-647-4221; rubyrosegail.tang@va.gov SCOPE OF WORK (SOW): Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Spark M. Matsunaga VA Medical Center located in Honolulu, HI as required by drawings and specifications. Project scope includes replacement of existing fire alarm systems and material, equipment and devices and cabling in the following buildings: Building E-Wing EW (T1) Building Parking garage PG (32). Ambulatory Care Clinic AC (30) Center for Aging CA (110) Parking Garage Building 32 New fire alarm control panel with voice. New fire alarm annunciator panel. New fire alarm speaker/strobes will be provided. Replace all existing devices with new devices. Add new fire alarm devices to meet VA fire protection. Provide red circuit breakers with locks in the electrical panels. All new fire alarm conduit will be factory painted red, existing conduit will be painted red with fire alarm label every 20 feet, all existing fire alarm boxes shall be labeled FA. Fire alarm panels will be connected via UDACT-2. AE will evaluate all the fire alarm device locations and provide new devices as required. ACC Building 30 New fire alarm control panel with voice. New fire alarm annunciator panel. New fire alarm speaker/strobes will be provided. Replace all existing devices with new devices. Add new fire alarm devices to meet VA fire protection. Provide red circuit breakers with locks in the electrical panels. E-Wing Building T-1 1. New fire alarm control panel with voice. 2. New fire alarm annunciator panel. 3. New fire alarm speaker/strobes will be provided. 4. Replace all existing devices with new devices. 5. Add new fire alarm devices to meet VA fire protection. 6. Provide red circuit breakers with locks in the electrical panels. 7. All fire alarm conduit will be factory painted red, existing conduit will be painted red. 8. Fire alarm panels will be connected via UDACT. 9. AE will evaluate all the fire alarm device locations and provide new devices as required. 10. A new fire alarm network panel shall be provided to receive signal from all the fire alarm systems in the remote buildings. CFA Building 110 New fire alarm control panel with voice. New fire alarm control panel with voice. New fire alarm annunciator panel. New fire alarm speaker/strobes will be provided. Replace all existing devices with new devices. Add new fire alarm devices to meet VA fire protection. Provide red circuit breakers with locks in the electrical panels. All new fire alarm conduit will be factory painted red, existing conduit will be painted red with fire alarm label every 20 feet, all existing fire alarm boxes shall be labeled FA. Fire alarm panels will be connected via UDACT-2. AE will evaluate all the fire alarm device locations and provide new devices as required. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
