Description | The Scope of Work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Removal of two (2) underground storage tanks utilized for fueling: - 6,000-gallon STI P3 steel gasoline UST, located in an active paved area, and - 6,000-gallon STI P3 diesel fuel UST, located in an active paved area 2. Removal of all existing UST related appurtenances, including but not limited to, the fuel management system, fuel piping, and dispensers, tank monitoring system, electrical power and signal cables. 3. Storage of fuel removed from the USTs prior to its placement in the ASTs must be maintained on site in temporary tanks by the Contactor and then subsequently transferred to the new ASTs when such construction of the AST system is completed. 4. Removal and disposal of tank bottoms and associated sludge, tank cleaning, and disposal. 5. Backfill tank excavation with compacted clean structural fill. 6. Removal, relocation, and replacement of impacted storm drainage structures and associated piping as indicated the Bid Specifications and Bid Plans. 7. Replacement of the underground storage tanks with a single two (2) compartment 12,000-gallon capacity AST (6,000-gallon diesel / 6,000-gallon gasoline) with appurtenant equipment (including but not limited to fuel management system and dispensers, tank monitoring system, electrical power and signal cables as indicated on the Bid Plans and in the Bid Specifications. 8. Installation of new storm drainage structures, piping, and treatment system as per the Bid Specifications and Bid Plans. 9. Potential controlled materials excavation, management, and disposal. 10. Complete restoration of site, including but not limited to, site demolition, repaving, etc. 11. The selected Contractor shall be required to provide a Schedule of Work outlining his/her plan to meet the proposed schedule of 100 calendar days from Notice to proceed to Completion. |
