Description

For a lump-sum contract are invited for the following work: 5521 Center For Integrative Health - Tenant Improvement University Of California, San Diego DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Tenant improvement including demolition, new interior partitions, new finishes, new plumbing, new electrical, and new mechanical. New Type 1 exhaust hood at induction range and grease interceptor for 3-compartment sink. Estimated project duration is one hundred twelve (112) calendar days. Zoom meeting information will be provided prior to the meeting date. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Lump Sum Base Bid, excluding alternates, shall accompany each Bid. The Surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, listed in the latest published State of California, Department of Insurance, list of Insurers Admitted to Transact Surety Insurance in This State. The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: B - General Building Contractor. The work described in the contract is a public work subject to section 1771 of the California Labor Code. No contractor or subcontractor, regardless of tier, may be listed on a Bid for, or engage in the performance of, any portion of this project, unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 and 1771.1. Contractors and subcontractors must use the DIR's upgraded electronic certified payroll reporting (eCPR) system to furnish certified payroll records (CPRs) to the Labor Commissioner. Contractors and subcontractors who have been submitting PDF copies of their CPRs for earlier projects must also begin using the new system. ALL CONTRACTORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS (DIR) AT BID TIME. Go to portal for more information and to register.
