Description

Project has been canceled with no plans to rebid in the future. Prospective bidders are encouraged to monitor the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration website for updates and future bidding opportunities. Bidders shall be advised that in accordance with the Mississippi Code, the Military Department has Thirty (30) calendar days to deliver a warrant to the vendor from the date an application for payment is determined to be due and payable under the terms and conditions of the contract. The Adjutant General reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive informalities. Award of contract is subject to availability of funds. Bids will be held open for 60 days from bid date. PART I - SCOPE OF WORK: 1.01 General Description: Schedule of Major Work is as follows: (A)Sitework: 1. Repair all areas of site damaged during construction including but not limited to ruts, concrete, etc.... (B) Building Exterior: 1. Remove all existing shingles and underlayment exposing existing wood decking. Re-nail all loose decking. Replace decking in amounts as required by specifications. 2. Remove all existing drip edge and vent flashing. 3. Install 1 layer of synthetic underlayment. 4. Install new pre-finished hemmed edge around entire perimeter of roof. 5. Install new vent flashings at all vents. Install per manufacturer's recommendations. 6. Install new lead boots at all plumbing vents. 7. Install new standing seam metal roof. 8. Demo/remove all existing aluminum fascia wrap, and wood soffit material. 9. Install new aluminum fascia wrap, vented aluminum soffit and vented hardi soffit. 10. Install new hardiplank horizontal lap siding at gable ends. 11. Paint exterior of building. (C) Building Interior: 1. Remove all existing dryer vents and patch holes. 2. Remove all existing thru wall air vents and patch holes with new cmu (stack bond). 3. Install new double door and side-lite in new opening. 4. Install new 5/8" gyp board ceiling overlay on existing ceiling in all rooms. Paint all ceilings. 5. Paint all interior walls, doors, frames, trim, shelving and ceilings, etc. 6. Install new trim around attic access. 7. Prep existing floor and apply new paint over entire floor of building. 8. Install new attic insulation.
