Description

1. Replace elevator hoist ropes, complete with new wedge type shackles 2. Replace the governor rope 3. Overhaul the overspeed governor. 4. Disassemble as required and fully verify the integrity of the cab mounted overspeed safety device. (May require additional charges once disassembled and field verified) 5. Replace/Repair/Rebuild controller relays. The existing relays on the motion control panel and the door operator panel are still available from our suppliers. The majority of the most worn relays will be completely replaced with new assemblies. Other relays that are structurally sound may require replacement of contacts or coils. Upon completion of this work, all relays will function as new. 6. Service the drive machine, including draining gear fluids, flushing the machine, verifying clearance between machine and worm gears, refill with appropriate fluids, and verify integrity of all bearings and seals. 7. Disassemble and repair machine brake, replace coil armature bearing and coil housing as needed. 8. Provide and install new button panels in the elevator cab and at each landing. 9. Installation of a top-of-cab safety guardrail 10. Extensive overhaul of existing hatch door equipment, including but not limited to: o Replacement of power operated door switch assemblies—located at each elevator landing. o Full clean down and servicing of door equipment A. Adjustment of alignment and wall fasteners of door tracks B. Replacement of door panel relating chains C. Replacement of door drive motor-linkage positioning chains D. Replacement as needed of door panel guide assemblies E. Adjustment of door panels F. Adjustment of cab gates and replacement of guide assemblies G. Replacement of gate to gate-counterweight linkage 11. Cleaning of all machine room equipment
