Description | The Board of Education of the Grosse Pointe Public School System ("Owner" or "School District") will receive sealed Bid Proposals for: Project - Summer 2023 Work Program - South High School IA Consolidation This Project includes renovations to the. The renovation scope will include demolition, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, general trades, glass, millwork, flooring, painting, and steel. The work will occur from June thru August 2023. Each Bid Proposal must also be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement certifying that the Contractor is not an Iran Linked Business. The Board of Education will not accept a Bid Proposal that does not include this sworn and notarized statement. Each Bid Proposal must also be accompanied by certified check, cashier's check, money order or bid bond made payable to the School District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount(s). The Grosse Pointe Public School System's Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bid Proposals, either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, or to award the contract to other than the contractor(s) submitting the best financial Bid Proposal (low bidder), in its sole and absolute discretion. Alternate # 1 - New Condensing Boiler Array: Including but not limited to; demolition or existing mechanical equipment and piping, concrete floor removal and reinstall, new condensing boilers, boiler breaching, HVAC controls, HHW piping, boiler natural gas piping, emergency stops, and underground sanitary piping as indicated in project documents. Alternate # 1a - Concrete equipment pads two 5'x4' pads for equipment stated above. Alternate # 2 - Counseling/Office: Including but not limited to; new RTU, HVAC duct, coils, grills and controls as indicated in project documents. Demolition of mechanical equipment per demo note 'X' and 'Y' as shown on plan MD1.00D is by HVAC contractor. |
