Interior Improvements of the Public Works Center

1.2 PROJECT DESCRIPTION : Interior wall, ceiling, and electrical/plumbing improvements of an existing 5,900 SF single level light wood frame building. 1.4 BID SECURITY : A surety company bid bond executed by a State licensed surety company on a form acceptable to Owner, a cashier's check or a certified check payable to the order of Island County Facilities Management, shall accompany each bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid plus Additive Alternates, if any. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. 1.5 REJECTION OF BIDS : The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and/or all Bids for any reason and, in particular, to reject a Bid not accompanied by any required bid security or data required by the Bidding Documents or a Bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
