Description | Patrick Dowse, La Vista City Engineer will notify pre-qualified construction managers on behalf of the City. Only construction managers that have been notified in writing will be allowed to provide a proposal for this Project. The successful construction manager shall be able to enter into a Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) contract by 9/21/2021. Interviews may be scheduled the week of August 16, 2021, or such other date(s) as specified by the City Administrator, City Engineer, or her or his designee. The location of the interviews would be at La Vista City Hall, 8116 Park View Boulevard, La Vista, NE 68128 or at such other location(s) as specified by the City. Project Schedule (General Timeline) The selected construction manager must be able to meet an aggressive construction schedule. It is expected that the selection process and award for a CMR contract will be completed in September 2021. Design work will continue in the rest of 2021 with final construction documents in early January 2022. Certain aspects of site work and foundations are expected to take place in Fall of 2021 on a fast-track basis. Portions of the project are to be substantially complete by December 2022 including, but not limited to: Plaza space on west, south, and east sides of the Entertainment Venue Fire lane and service access to Entertainment Venue. Any paths required for egress from Entertainment Venue 11. Final completion of all facilities shall be spring of 2023. |
