Clearing and Grubbing, Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection, Storm Water Facilities and Paving to Serve Chambers Creek, Section 6A

Scope of Work of the Contract includes the following: clearing of 18.2 acres; grading of approximately 40,900 CY of earthen material; installation of 4,135 LF of 4"- 8" PVC waterline; 3,750 LF of 8" PVC gravity sanitary sewer; 540 LF of 4" force main; 2,150 LF of 18"- 36" RCP and 190 LF of 12"-30" HDPE storm sewer; and 8,620 SY of 6" reinforced concrete pavement. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
