Description

Provide civil drainage improvements and repairs around the COARNG’s 168th Regional Training Institute (RTI) facility located at Fort Carson, CO. The damage around the facility was identified to be caused by water intrusion surrounding the entry/exit doors along the southeast and eastern sections, and civil drainage issues along the loading dock/outside amphitheater/underneath entry bridge; including exterior slab on grade/sidewalk heaving and binding. In order to prevent any additional structural damage to the facility’s foundation and structural components, repairs and regrading around the facility are required. Such repairs will include installation of a retaining wall with a v-ditch, underground drainage piping w/ concrete channel, concrete sidewalk and stair replacement, installation of a benched underground drainage system, repair/seal of a masonry elevator core wall, and grading of bioswales.
