Cart Path Replacement at County Golf Course

GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1 BACKGROUND: Chambers County, Texas is a county adjacent to and part of the greater Houston, Texas metropolitan area. It is home to a diverse economy and population with a great deal of rural agricultural activity, scaling up to densely populated residential areas and highly concentrated, high-risk industrial plants. The population is growing at a fairly significant rate and is projected to accelerate its growth over the next decade. Chambers County Commissioners Court is requesting sealed bid proposals for approximately 1500 LF of cart path replacement located at the Chambers County Golf Course, 1 Pinchback Drive, Anahuac, Texas 77514. Bid proposal, in duplicate, must be in a sealed envelope, clearly marked "Cart Path Replacement Bid" on the outside and addressed to: Chambers County Judge Sylvia at P.O. Box 939 / 404 Washington Avenue, Anahuac, TX 77514. NO FAXED, EMAILED, OR LATE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Cart Pathway replacement size is approximately 1500 ft. • Replacing approximately 1500 ft. of cart path • Need to be formed with 1x4 lumber and 3/8 rebar • Expansion joints need to be redwood with rebar 20 ft. apart • All concrete that needs to be cut out will be done by bidder • New Concrete will be tied into old concrete with rebar • County will remove old concrete • If course is too wet, NO equipment will be allowed on course • Georgia Buggies will be acceptable to deliver concrete

Division 33 -	Utilities, Water Utilities, Sanitary Sewerage Utilities, Storm Utility Water Drains, Ponds and Reservoirs.
