| Description | Upon contract activation, the successful Proposer shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) as defined in the Request for Proposal documents. Proposals will only be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LSA-R.S. 37:2150-2164 in one or more of following classifications: Building Construction, Rigging, House Moving, Wrecking and Dismantling, Clearing Grubbing and Snagging, Industrial Cleaning and Material/Waste Handling, or Hazardous Material Cleanup and Removal. The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury shall incur no obligation to the Contractor/Proposer until the Contract between the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and the Contractor/Proposer is fully executed. Minority owned firms and small businesses are encouraged to participate. Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury no later than seven (7) days prior to Request for Proposal opening. |
