Western Nebraska Community College (WNCC) Classroom Pods Renovations 2023 - A Pod and Commons Area

As of March 2, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Sealed Bids for the renovation of Pod A faculty offices and classrooms as well as the renovation of commons area and hallways around the classroom pods. Any Bids received after the above specified time for submittal will be immediately returned to the Bidder unopened. The site of the work is located at 1601 East 27th Street in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: The project includes the renovation of Pod A in its entirety, both classrooms and faculty offices, as well as the renovation of the Commons Area and hallways around and adjacent to the classroom pods. This will be divided into two separate project contracts for each area. The project will be awarded in two contracts for Pod A - Contract A, and the Commons Area and hallways - Contract B. The basis of award will be the sum of both contracts. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) unqualified of the amount of maximum Bid price shall be required with each Bid. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Right is reserved in the interest of the Owner to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in the Bids received. $1,800,000.00 for a Pod. $1,200,000.00 for the common area. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
