Lewiston Junction Road - Between the 2 Railroad Crossings near Kittyhawk Avenue. Proposed dimensions: 560’ x 39’. Mill approximately 2” depth or to an approved roadway profile. Shim with 9.5mm HMA and overlay with 1.5” of 12.5mm HMA. Stripe double yellow centerline and single white fog lines Lewiston Junction Road - Poland Town Line to First Railroad Crossing. Proposed dimensions: 1,215’ x 26’ with 1’ gravel shoulders and 1,200’ x 39’ (12’ travel 7.5’ paved shoulder). Install/Replace proposed cross culvert. Reclaim existing roadway surface. Add geo-textile fabric. Add approximately 12” of Type A gravel. Taper to butt joints at project limits and intersection aprons. Pave with 2.5” of 19.0mm HMA base and 1.5” of 12.5mm HMA surface. Match driveway aprons. Type A gravel, 2” 12.5mm HMA base, 1” 9.5mm HMA surface. Reestablish ditching and inslopes. Loam, seed and mulch as directed. Reset existing mailboxes. Stripe double yellow centerline and edge lines Perkins Ridge Road – West Auburn Road to Lapham Brook Bridge. Proposed dimensions: 2,950’ x 23’ with 1’ gravel shoulders. Test pit as directed. Install/Replace proposed cross culverts, driveway culverts and 6” UD. Reclaim existing roadway surface. Add geo-textile fabric. Add approximately 12” of Type A gravel. Taper to butt joints at project limits and intersection aprons. Pave with 2” of 12.5mm HMA base and 1.5” of 12.5mm HMA surface. Match driveway aprons. Type A gravel, 2” 12.5mm HMA base, 1” 9.5mm HMA surface. Install concrete curbing. Reestablish ditching and inslopes. Loam, seed and mulch as directed. Reset existing mailboxes. Stripe double yellow centerline.
