Description | The Work consists of the following two (2) existing water storage facilities within the City of Brighton: 1. North Star Spheroid Tank - Repair, restoration and recoating a 600,000-gallon spheroid elevated water storage tank with a low-water level of 110-ft (estimated 154-ft high-water level) located at 7950 Conference Center Drive in Brighton, Michigan. 2. Summit Street Standpipe Tank - Repair, restoration, and recoating of a 770,000-gallon standpipe water storage tank with a sidewall height of 75-ft and an estimated diameter of 42-ft located at 169 Summit St. in Brighton, Michigan. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. OWNER will not engage in unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, height, weight, marital status, or unrelated disability. Bids from minority- and female-owned organizations are encouraged. This Contract requires the use of prevailing wage rates. Other specific funding requirements are included in the Project Manual. No Bids may be withdrawn after the above date and time for receiving Bids for a period of ninety (90) days. Requests may also be directed, with payment, to the ENGINEER at 3497 Coolige Road, East Lansing, Michigan 48823. The purchaser must supply the email address, telephone and facsimile numbers along with street address of the individual or firm to whom addenda (if any) can be directed. Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or Bid Bond for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid. The right is reserved by OWNER to accept any Bid, to reject any Bid, and to waive irregularities in Bids. |
