MD 36 from Seldom Seen Road to Clicks Crossing Road Drainage Improvement - Allegany County

The MDOT SHA hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority/ disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, sexual identity, genetic information or disability in consideration for an award. Number: AC-STBG-207-1(46)E MD 36 from Seldom Seen Road to Clicks Crossing Road Drainage Improvement - Allegany County. This project, located in Allegany County, is for the reconstruction of grated inlets along MD 36 in Lonaconing. Damaged frame and grates will be replaced. Loose concrete and brick will be removed to sound concrete then formed and poured to existing elevations. Concrete Aprons will be placed around the frame. The work will consist of the following: a) Replacement Frame and Grates, b) Concrete Apron, c) Mix 9 Concrete for Miscellaneous Structures, d) Epoxy Coated Reinforcing Steel, e) Graded Aggregate Base, f) Curb and Sidewalk Repair, g) Replacement of Storm Drainage Pipe Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00.
