Administration Building Roof Replacement

Existing single layer, roof is on 2" nailborad roof insulation. Contractor will, at a minimum, supply, perform or otherwise furnish the following: 1. Protect all plantings, walkways, buildings and grounds from damage and by debris covering with tarps, as neede. 2. Remove existing shingles on entire roof, with the exception of the flat roof located at the main entrance andthe "fake" slate roof on the schoolhouse. 3. Re-secure existing sheathing as required to ensure a sound foundation for the new shingles. 4. Replace any damaged roof sheathing with like product. Must Specify Per Sheet, Installed price in bid 5. Install aluminum drip edge to all roof edges. 6. Install ice and water shield on all lower eaves, valleys and under wall flashings 7. Install 15# felt paper on all other roof areas. 8. Replace all pipe flanges and wall flashings as needed as well as make any other roof protrusions watertight where they instersect the roof deck 9. Install new GAF starter shingles on all roof edges 10. Install new GAF high wind cap shingles to ventilation system, all ridges and or peaks. 11. Run a magnet over and remove debris from walkways and driveway as to keep safe access and to not hinder daily business operations, 12. Provide a 10-year workmanship warranty 13. Contractor will be responsible for maintaining safe access to building entryways throughout the job. any necessary closures will need to be planned for and approved by plumstead Township personnel at least 24 hours prior to closure 14. Contractor will be responsible for the safe and appropriate disposal of all debris generated by the above mentioned work
