Roof Replacement of the Original Wing

1. Removal And Disposal Of Current Roof And Installation Of New Roof On Original Wing Only Of Mar Lee School The Mar Lee School District, (MLSD) (the "School District") is desirous of receiving services for the "Roof Replacement of the Original Wing". The purpose of this Request for Proposals for "Roof Replacement of the Original Wing" (the "RFP") is to obtain sealed proposals from professional and qualified vendors who can provide the "Roof Replacement of the Original Wing" in accordance with the terms and conditions of this RFP. The School District expects the project to begin no earlier than June 11, 2023, and be fully completed no later than August 4, 2023. Holt, Superintendent at (269) 781-5412- or by e-mail at holtc@mar-lee.org Tear off existing roof, flashings, and metal and dispose of the debris. o Inspect the existing roof deck for damage and repair it with steel plating. o Over the decking, attach 2 layers of 2.6" polyisocyanurate insulation to the gypsum o decking to meet the current code. o Over the insulation, adhere a 60-mil white TPO membrane roof to the deck using o standard bonding adhesive. o Flash all curbs and penetrations according to manufacturer guidelines. o Around the perimeter of the building, install a new 24-gauge metal with a Kynar finish in a blue color that matches the building. o Upon completion of the roof, provide a 20-year manufacturer's warranty.
