Construct Affordable Housing for a Gold Star or Veteran Family

Contractor to construct a 3-bedroom, 2 baths with a 2-car garage (1,300 sq. ft. under air) on a City owned lot located at 1374 SW Aachen Avenue, however this location is subject to change. Impact windows are preferred for this project in lieu of hurricane shutters. The floor plan and elevation shall be determined by the builder and approved by the City. The construction shall be in accordance with all Florida Building codes and the Neighborhood Services Department Housing Division 2019 Standard New Construction Specifications with the exception that concrete block shall be utilized for the exterior walls and not insulated concrete form (ICF). This project is expected to be completed within 180 calendar days from the date of the executed contract. The Contractor shall be responsible for all impact fees and permit fees necessary to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy (CO) from the City’s Building Department.
