Description

As of March 29, 2023, this project is in the conceptual phase and pending funding. An architect has not been selected. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: A firm to provide architectural design services for the new construction of a library branch in Allingtown. Library space is approximately 12,000 square feet. The location is at 634 Orange Ave, West Haven, CT 06516. Preliminary building plans can be furnished upon request. If required, clarification of the RFQ may be obtained by contacting Colleen Bailie, Director of West Haven Public Library, at (203) 937-4233 no later than February 19, 2022. Evaluation and selection of the firm will be based on: design and technical competence, the capacity and capability to perform the work within an agreed upon timeframe, past record of performance, and knowledge of Federal, State, and Municipal procedures, and cost. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
