| Description | The Lowndes County Board of Supervisors requests proposals for pre-qualification of Contractors to provide for the base and paving construction of Charleigh Ford Drive for approximately 1.6 miles from Artesia Road to Mims Road. This request for Proposal only includes addressing Pre-Qualifications of prospective bidders. The submitted proposals shall be taken under advisement for review by an evaluation committee appointed by the Lowndes County Board of Supervisors. Pre-qualified contractors shall be selected in the sole discretion of the evaluation committee. In addition to the pre-qualification proposal, the prospective bidders must disclose a plan of making commercially reasonable efforts to meet the requirements of Mississippi Contractors and Mississippi Disadvantaged Business Enterprise ("DBE" in order that a DBE shall have an equal opportunity to respond to the bid. The Board of Supervisors of Lowndes County reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals. |
