AE Building Storefront Glass Window

Storefront Glass Installation using Low E storefront glass material. Project will be to place glass in the openings after the removal of 65 single pane windows (removal by others) has been performed. Contractor to bid labor, material and equipment to effectively install windows in a minimum of three mobilization periods. Contractor must coordinate with Abatement Contractor (who is responsible for the removal of old windows) to insure the Administration building install will be timely and consecutive after the removal. Manpower must be provided to install a minimum of 4 to 5 units per day. Approximate window size is 4' tall x 10’ wide. All openings must be field measured by bidder and verified again prior to product order. 1. Insulating Glass: PPG Commercial 1" Solarban 60 (2) tinted insulating glass unit or approved equal. 2. Exterior pane: tinted heat strengthened glass 3. Interior pane: clear heat strengthened glass with Low-E high performance sputter coat on #2 surface 4. Overall Unit thickness and thickness each lite: ¼" glass panes and ½" air space. Overall thickness 1" 5. Interspace Content: Air 6. Tint Color: selected from Manufacturers standard glass tint/ Basis of Design is PPG Tint Color "Solar Bronze" 7. Kind: Heat Strengthened 8. Visible Transmittance: Manufacturer’s Standard for glass performance but not less than 38% 9. .33 heat gain factor 10. .45 U factor
