Description | The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) seeks qualified firms to design, procure, and construct the replacement of the Riverside Oil Water Separator. The Oil Water Separator must have 1000 Gallon Total volume, a 100 GPM flow rate, 600 GPM total spill capacity, primary parallel corrugated plate coalescer, secondary screen coalescer, 10 ppm oil/grease discharge. It must be constructed in accordance with U.L.-58. It must have a 500 Gallon Oil Storage Capacity, a 6” Inlet Flange, 6” outlet flange, two 24” diameter manholes with 6’ extensions covers gaskets and bolts. Emergency shutdowns must be installed and the shut off valves must be both upstream and downstream of the Oil Water Separator isolating the separator in the event of an emergency. Emergency Shut down activation must be readily accessible in the shop. The conceptual plan shown in Figure 1 depicts proposed improvements. |
