Aircraft Hangar Hydraulic Pump System Repair and Service

The primary pupose of this project is to repair, redesign and service the hydraulic pump system already in place in aircraft hangar 7538 which is used to augment and enhance the Aircraft Hydraulics Systems and Aircraft Technician courses. The hangar is equipped with a John Henry Foster Mule System and two hydraulic stations. The current design does not have sufficient return pressure on the system’s return lines to recycle the oil back to the hydraulic pump’s motor. Reengineering the system to function properly would maximize the training experience based on our current and future course load expectations, as well as prevent a complete hydraulic system failure.
