| Description | The project involves the installation of bicycle racks at specified locations in the Cities of Margate and Ventnor. The project includes a total of 208 individual bicycle rack installations (131 racks in Margate and 77 racks in Ventnor). The project will include several different styles of racks. The mounting will include the installation of a new concrete base for surface mounting or directly surface mounting the racks to the existing sidewalk or pavement. The project plans will specify the style of rack and mounting type to be used at each location. All racks will be secured using tamper resistant and corrosion resistant anchors and bolts. Existing surface areas will vary and may include concrete sidewalk, brick sidewalk, asphalt, and grass area. The existing condition of surface areas area to be maintained as is or restored as part of the rack installations. |
