Description

**As of February 2 ,2023, , project was awarded to Mike Pusateri Excavating, Inc., awarded amount is $494,995.20.** Project includes: Amphitheater, Splash Pad, Lighting, Parking Lot, Concrete Sidewalk. The bidders may be required to give references and such other detailed information as will enable the owner to judge responsibility, experience, skill, and financial standing. The bidder must possess work types and perform work equal to at least 30% of the total amount of the submitted bid price. State of Ohio Fund 7031 or 7035 monies are being used to assist construction and that relevant state requirements will apply. Attention is called to the prevailing wage rates to be paid where applicable for labor and public involvement in and for Columbiana County, as ascertained by the U.S. Department of Labor under the mandate of the Davis-Bacon Act and related legislation. Bidder shall comply with, Copeland Anti-Kick Back Act (18 U.S.C. 874) as supplemented in Department of Labor Regulations (29 CFR, Part 3). This Act provides that the contractor is prohibited from inducing, by any means, any person employed in the construction, completion, or repair of public work, to give up any part of the compensation to which he is otherwise entitled. Affirmative Action- Equal Employment Opportunity requirements set forth in the Contract Documents. A bidder/contractor will be deemed committed to the goal of such bid conditions by submitting a properly signed bid. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap or national origin. All applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act of 1970. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond with an approved surety company in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid as surety for the execution of the contract. A certified check on some solvent bank drawn and made payable to the Village of Leetonia, in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid will be accepted in lieu of said bond. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, or to increase or omit any item(s), waive any informalities or irregularities and to award to the lowest and best responsible bidder.
