5.8 T Riverbend Road at SR 3 Improvements and Signal Modification

The project consists of the construction a new driveway on SR 3/Dalton Bypass directly across from Riverbend Road and modifications of the existing signal currently operating at the intersection. The existing left turn lane on SR 3 northbound will be reconstructed and a new left tune lane on SR 3 southbound will be added. The typical section for the new driveway is a twolane roadway urban section with a left turn lane, right turn lane, sidewalk, and curb & gutter. A proposed mechanically stabilized embankment (MSE) wall is proposed along the south side of the driveway. The project length is approximately 0.161 miles.
