Major Street Improvements Phase 2 Project

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT. The purpose of the projects is the construction, reconsruction, of repair by means of milling and overlay, or heavy repairs of various city streets, together with all necessary appurtenant works. Each Bid must be accompanied by a BID BOND payable to the OWNER for Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. A certified check may be used lieu of BID BOND PERFORMANCE, MAINTENANCE AND STATUTORY PAYMENT BONDS in the amount of 100 hundred percent 100%) of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, wil be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The OWNER may valve any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all BIDS. Any BID may be withdrawn prior to the sbove scheduled time fo the opening of BIDS o authorized postponement thereol, Any BID receied after the time and date specified shal not be considered. No BIDDER may withdraw a BD within sixty (60) calendar days following the actual date of the opening thereof
