Contract 1, Water Transmission Mains to Mount Olivet Ground Storage Reservoir

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water Transmission Mains to Mount Olivet Ground Storage Reservoir, will be received, by the Leavenworth Waterworks, at the office located at 601 Cherokee, Leavenworth, Kansas 66048, The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the improvements, which consist of: 1. Construction of 3,046 Feet of 20-inch HDPE, 136 Feet of 20-inch DIP, and 37 Feet of 16-inch DIP. 2. Construction of 1,740 Feet of 20-inch HPDE under and parallel to Metropolitan Avenue using HDD method. 3. Make two connections to existing 16-inch DIP Water Mains to supply both new water transmission mains. 4. Make one connection to an existing 8-inch Water Main. 5. Make two connections at tank site to proposed new 20-inch DIP to be provided by and coordinated with Tank Contractor. 6. Construction of new tank overflow drainage swale along south pipeline towards Mount Olivet Road. 7. Site improvements including tree clearing to be completed by March 31, 2021, excavation, grading and associated earthwork, surface restoration, fencing, seeding, SWPPP and other associated work including cleanup. 8. All other work as required by the contract documents.
