Description

Provide Traffic and Design Engineering, Construction Engineering and Inspection services for the intersection of SR 140 and SR 5 BU in Canton (Marietta Highway). The intersection of SR 140 and Marietta Highway experiences peak hour delays. The AADT on SR140 in the vicinity of the Marietta Highway intersection is 17,579. The project includes the construction of additional lanes, concrete median, increasing right turning lane storage, right-in/right-out improvements at Walgreens Driveway and Hospital Road, signal improvements and realignment of Shoal Creek Road to align with Mary Lane. A schematic layout and previously completed traffic study is included as part of this package.
