Description

This project will install new wireless sensors that will enable remote signal phase retiming for current and future traffic volumes remotely for signal systems in Dutchess, and Westchester Counties. The signal systems identified in Dutchess county includes Route 9 in the Town of Poughkeepsie and Route 9 in the Town of Fishkill. The signal systems identified in Westchester county include signals on Route 35 in Yorktown and Route 120 in the Town of Harrison. The work will include the installation of new wireless sensors that will enable remote signal phase retiming for current and future traffic volumes remotely. This retiming effort will reduce delays and improve air quality.
