2020 Paving Program

Work includes paving of the existing roadway with overlays consisting of 1 1/2" of HMA Wearing Surface (15,501 SY) on 1" of HMA Wearing (Scratch) Course (909 Ton), Bituminous Tack Coat (31,002 SY), 4" HMA Base Repair (400 SY as directed), No. 2a Shoulder Backup (1` width) (212 Ton). The preparation for the Tack Coat (power sweeping of existing roadway), Drive Adjustments, Pavement Notches / Transition Milling at intersections, and the Maintenance and Protection of Traffic shall be included in the cost of items. Roads include: 1. Griffin Road (T-713 ) - from Golf Course Road to Township Line, 2. Mc Andrew Road - from Gardner Road to a point 1125 LF on Mc Andrew Road, 3. Homestead Drive (T-336) - from RT 307 to end of Homestead Drive, 4. Hazard Pond Road - from Homestead Drive to end of Hazard Pond Road. BID NO. 2 - Work includes paving of the existing roadway with overlays consisting of 1 1/2" of HMA Wearing Surface (10,056 SY) on 1" of HMA Wearing (Scratch) Course (590 Ton), Bituminous Tack Coat (20,112 SY). The preparation for the Tack Coat (power sweeping of existing roadway), Drive Adjustments, Pavement Notches/Transition Milling at intersections, and the Maintenance and Protection of Traffic shall be included in the cost of items. Roads include: 1. Woodcrest Drive - from Blue Shutters Road to Wildcrest Road, 2. Hilldell Drive - from Woodcrest Drive to Velview Road, 3. Donny Drive - from RT 307 thru Barbara Drive Intersection, 4. Barbara Drive - from Ulysses Drive to 60` beyond Belle Drive. Also, add alternate: Old Rt. 435 - from North Main St. to the end of Old Rt. 435. BID NO. 3 - The work involves the removal and replacement of the existing pavement area at the township building. The work includes removal of existing pavement to subgrade (339 CY). Replacement of pavement with 1 1/2" of HMA Wearing Surface (1015 SY), on 4" of HMA Base Course (1015 SY), on 6" of No 2a Subbase (1015 SY), Bituminous Tack Coat (1015 SY). The preparation for the Tack Coat, Sawcutting (as required), and the Maintenance and Protection of Traffic shall be included in the cost of items.
