Sports Field Lighting Strengthening Project

The project shall consist of, but not be limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to strengthen seven (7) wooden sports fields pole located at the location stated in Section D2. Strengthening work and specs shall include, but not be limited to: Arrival at job site with personnel who have current certificates of the following: Certified strengthening material installer OSHA 10/30 Fall Protection Training & Hand Tool Safety First Aid/CPR A Professional Engineer on staff capable of reviewing calculations and determining amounts of material needed to secure structures. Unload/receive all equipment needed. Stage equipment and material in area agreed upon between Contractor and Town of Miami Lakes parks representative. Test all equipment and tools to be used to ensure they are all in safe working order. Excavation 18 below ground level of each pole to be strengthened. Patching of any large cavities with high strength mortar. Surface preparation to piles by lightly sanding surface to receive strengthening material and ensure proper bond. Installation of necessary jackets/sleeves to prep for material injection from 18 below grade up to 10 for seven (7) wooden sports field pool (18 diameter). Notching of timber pole and placement of material injection tubes. Injection of strengthening material into poles where sleeves/jackets have been installed to fill all cavities and cracks. Coating of installed strengthening material with UV protective pain to match existing. Backfill of existing excavation. The Project will be at the following location a. Miami Lakes Optimist Park, 6411 NW 162nd Street, Miami Lakes, FL 33014 a.
