Fiber Loop between West, Central and Memorial High Schools

Provide Wide Area Network Connectivity (WAN) between West, Memorial, and Central High Schools. The district is considering bids for self-provisioned fiber and services provided over third-party networks. Additionally, bids are being requested for the network electronics to light the service as well as maintenance and operations. This will provide MSD with the necessary infrastructure to support high speed internet to each of MSD' s 22 schools. Additionally, each of the primary Cisco Meraki (MS225-48FP) SFP modules need to be upgraded from 1Gbps to 10Gbps modules at each of the 22 schools and the district office. In order to support district network services and converged network video recording, a fiber run is required between Central HS and Memorial HS, then from Memorial HS to West HS. The fiber must be able to support a minimum of 10 Gbps. The district will decide on the term that is the most cost-effective alternative and will consider the following terms: 1.) A 12-month contract from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 with four (4) optional one (1) year renewals. 2.) A 24-month contract from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022 with three (3) optional one (1) year renewals. 3.) A 36-month contract, with two (2) optional one-year renewals.
