Description | Purchase and delivery of an estimated 1,911 tons of Slow Sand Filter Media with the delivery beginning not sooner than September 12th, 2022 and ending no later than October 7th, 2022. Note: The filter media delivered to the Owners slow sand filter site will meet NSF 61 standards and be tested pursuant to the specification for turbidity, uniformity coefficient, effective size, percentage of fines, etc. and must meet the specified standards. No proposal will be considered by the Springfield Utility Board unless the Bid contains a statement by the Bidder that the Bidder will comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 and 40 U.S.C. 276(a) pertaining to prevailing wages, as applicable. Contractor licensing under ORS 468A.720 for working with asbestos-containing materials is not a requirement of this project. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether or not the bidder is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120. Each bid must also contain a statement as to whether the bidder is registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. No bid will be received or considered unless the bidder is registered with the Construction Contractors Board, as required by ORS 701.035 et seq. The Springfield Utility Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed in the best interests of the Springfield Utility Board. The Springfield Utility Board may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the agency it is in the public interest to do so.
