Description

Seeking a qualified design build (DB) Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to design, construct and install low impact development (“LID”) stormwater retrofits and outdoor education features at three (3) local District of Columbia Schools through its RiverSmart Schools program. A minimum 1.2-inch rainfall should be used as the basis of bioretention and permeable paver sizing such as school parking lots and impervious play areas. The projects must be completed by August 30, 2020. These sites are: (1) Friendship PCS – Technology Preparatory High School Academy located at 2705 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. SE, Washington, DC 20032, (2) Cleveland Elementary located at 1825 8th St NW, Washington, DC 20001, and (3) Turner Elementary, 3264 Stanton Rd SE, Washington, DC 20020.
