| Description | Carpet, vinyl composition tile and resilient sheet flooring installation, repairs and maintenance services as listed and described in the this document, specifications and bid form. The awarded Bidder shall furnish all labor and materials required for complete installation. The awarded Bidder shall be responsible for moving all furniture (tables, desks, bookcases, etc.) with the exception of permanent fixtures attached to the wall or floor. Bidders are cautioned that from time to time they will be required to furnish other colors from the manufacturer’s standard color chart at their bid pricing. Installation shall include removal and disposal of existing carpet (or other floor covering, if necessary, to obtain a proper installation. The District authorized representative(s) shall have authority to authorize removal and disposal of existing floor covering. District authorized representative(s), upon notification by the awarded Bidder will make arrangements for major floor repairs and preparation, if required. |
