2020 Road Program and Columbus Park Basketball Courts

Work to be performed under this contract includes the following: Base Bid The milling and resurfacing, spot curb, sidewalk and driveway replacement, ADA curb ramp upgrades, installation of curb pieces and bicycle safe grates, minor drainage improvements, and other incidentals at the following locations: Belmont Avenue (Midland Avenue to Dead End) Belmont Avenue (Northern half curb to centerline from Pierre Avenue to Chestnut Street) Belmont Avenue (Chestnut Street to Dead End) Herman Street (Lanza Avenue to City Limits) Elizabeth Street (Harrison Avenue to Gaston Avenue) First Street (Outwater Lane to Park Avenue) Second Street (Outwater Lane to Bellport Place) Shaw Street (Lanza Avenue to City Limits) Meyer Street (Route 46 to Madeline Avenue) MacArthur Avenue (Outwater Lane to Wendy Terrace) Alternate Bid `A` The milling and resurfacing, spot curb, sidewalk and driveway improvements, installation of curb pieces and bicycle safe grates, and other incidentals along Madeline Avenue (from Shaw Street to Herman Street). Alternate Bid `B` The construction of two (2) full size asphalt basketball courts in Columbus Park. Also included will be various improvements to the existing access road and parking facilities within the park. Alternate Bid `C` The installation of 8 foot high chain-link fence along the edge of the basketball courts nearest the railroad tracks. Alternate Bid `D` The installation of 8 foot high chain-link fence around the remaining perimeter (three sides) of the basketball courts.
