Description

Construction scope will consist of the Construction of a new elevator tower joining the existing Pat White Center. The tower's footprint is approximately 8'x24' two stories tall and includes all the equipment, structure, mechanical, electric, and plumbing for an operating accessible elevator system. This project is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) BOND REQUIREMENTS: Bid security shall be in the form of a Bid Bond, Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certified Check, or Bank Draft payable to Director of Finance, Prince William County, in an amount not less than 5% of the cost proposal. The bid security must accompany each bid response in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Any forfeiture of the Bid Bond is limited to the face amount of the bond or the difference between the bid and the next low bid whichever is less. The successful bidder is required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment bonds and, in an amount, not less than 100% of the contract amount. Questions received after the question deadline will not be acknowledged. BID WITHDRAWAL: Section 400.16 of the Prince William County Procurement Regulations, as amended, shall govern bid withdrawal. If a bid may be lawfully withdrawn under that section, written notice of withdrawal must be provided within two (2) business days after the date and time designated for bid opening. The Prince William County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any bids in part or in its entirety, waive informalities and irregularities in bidding, and to accept bids, which are, in consideration, in the best interest of Prince William County.
